How is the procedure performed?
Your treatment provider will discuss the results you desire and may have you, depending on the area to be treated, apply regular makeup in order to determine the shape and colors you would like to attain. The area to be treated is cleansed and a topical anesthetic is applied for your comfort. The pigment is placed throughout the dermal layer of the skin via a delicate hand piece. Each procedure length may vary among technicians.
Is the procedure painful?
Since topical anesthetic is applied prior to treatment, the permanent cosmetics procedure is relatively comfortable.
How will I look…etc?
Slight swelling and redness of the skin is common and will quickly subside. Regular activities may be resumed immediately following treatment and you may be asked to refrain from wearing makeup and contact lenses depending on what area was treated. Direct sun exposure to the treated area should be avoided for a certain period of time. You will begin to see your final results two to three weeks after your treatment.
