BodyLase Skin Spa of Raleigh North Carolina is pleased to announce Dr. Kumar, Duke trained plastic surgeon, has joined our Smartlipo team. Smartlipo is the latest laser-assisted technology for unwanted fat removal. Traditional liposuction offers patients unnecessary risks and complications that are minimalized with the Smartlipo technique.
“If you have areas of fat that will not respond to diet and exercise, then you are a good candidate for the Smartlipo procedure,” says Naveen Kumar, MD. “Ideal candidates are in generally good health, with a reasonable body weight and have realistic expectations for the results.”
Traditional liposuction has been performed for years to treat large areas of the body where fat deposits have accumulated. Recovery times of a week, two weeks or even more are common. By contrast, with Smartlipo, you are back on your feet in a day or two! Utilizing the advancement of laser surgery technology, Smartlipo is a minimally-invasive procedure offering real benefits for liposuction patients. Smartlipo patients have reduced recovery times, less discomfort, minimal health risks and see immediate results. Because general anesthesia is unnecessary, Smartlipo is the safest, least invasive surgical way to contour the body.
Smartlipo can be used on practically any part of the body. In particular, Smartlipo is ideal for smaller areas of stubborn fat such as the tummy, neck, love handles, arms, and knees. Smartlipo destroys fat cells in just one treatment. Repeat procedures on the same body part are unnecessary*.
The tiny fiber optic laser used during the procedure minimizes surgical trauma. In addition, the laser wavelengths close down the blood vessels, while greatly reducing bruising, swelling and recovery time.
